The message of pushing to be better and not being afraid to do something hard and scary really struck a chord (haha pun) with me and I just love it. I definitely don't have that gift of singing Madilyn has, and I've had to work really hard to get where I am, and yet I still have far to go. That can be really discouraging at times, but then I look back at where I came from, and I realize how far I really have made it. The only thing that's stopping me from getting even better is me. I've just got to be brave and try my hardest - whatever happens happens. Thank you for reminding me of that. I really needed it.

Met George Winston, William Ackerman others who'd send me cassettes of their work in progress. I'd then send them the videos. Helping each other. Finally CBS Sunday morning news let me go out to SAN Francisco,,tape George live and let the magic happen. That one little video helped put him on the charts.
