I still find that subject totally horrifying, even though it never happened to me nor to anyone near and dear to me, and I am a fully grown, mature woman! Just freezes my blood and numbs my brain, still, after all these years of hearing about " 'them' - whether female or male." I do not watch horror movies either for that reason - I was raised with parents who went through WWII in Europe for 5 years in their later teens so to me monsters are just tooo real for me to enjoy horror movies. I know at times it is good to joke about these things to make them all easier to "digest" psychologically, especially for those who never actually experienced these things, so if you want to do such a vid in the future where you inject dark humor as you are doing here, include a warning in the title, okay? please? Then I would have a heads up and would not be blindsided (that's how it feels to me) okay? please? I have been enjoying a lot of your vids, that is why I am asking. I truly enjoy your vids! You are doing terrific with them! :) Those glasses are for nighttime glare from surrounding city lights and oncoming headlights (add foggy and rainy conditions on top of all that and you have truly scary night driving conditions!!) - and also for blindingly sunny winter days where snow is on the ground so there is white glare everywhere from sunlight reflecting off the snow in all directions making it very hazardous to drive because it is literally almost impossible to see (so one is "blind" in full sunlight, so this is a very contradictory thing, yet it happens). Since you live in a warm climate you could, for example, test them outside at night on a two direction road where the headlights from the cars coming from the other direction will beam into your vision while you are driving - or you could in another test vid try to recreate these conditions solo - or with a friend - in your home by putting one or more flashlight(s) on and leaving them laying on different surfaces beaming into the room, then go sit in front of the beams at some distance and see if the glasses work - if those flashlight beams do not blind you and you can move about the room safely once you stand up, the glasses worked! (at least I think that would be an equivalent experiment!) If you threw them out already, it would be worthwhile to buy another pair to do this! I like that you tried to destroy them two ways - that really says a lot about them and is a great quality for them to have. As I have been considering buying those glasses for a long time now, I actually would appreciate your giving them a follow-up thorough review! It is funny that you did not understand what they are for - goes to show you have good eyes where night headlights from oncoming cars never bothered you, and that you have probably never driven in snow glare conditions! It is not that they are made to enhance your ability see at night - like military equipment might - but rather that they help in the conditions described above by reducing glare, only. Ah you lucky warm climate peeps. Goes to show you how truly huge and climatically diverse the US is - the first time I travelled in a plane over the US I simply could not believe it. This is a BIG country.
