Definitely do all the touristy things in Tokyo (Tokyo tower, harajuku, shibuya, shinjuku, etc.) but also visit the backstreets of those areas. I'd also visit the countryside and the little towns on the coast. They have the best sushi and seafood ever. If you're legit planning on going, totally feel free to DM me with any questions! 301. Alex Archer: Josh, you should definitely go to Tokyo and Osaka! I've lived in Tokyo and it's one of my favourite cities in the world - there's literally sooo much to see and do. Staying near Shinjuku is a good idea 😊 Also if you have time, take the shinkansen (bullet train) and spend a few days in Kyoto. The historic temples alone are worth it. Maybe stop by Hiroshima on the way too? It's such a beautiful city despite over 90% having been completely rebuilt post WWII.... Their atomic bomb museum is so tragic I was in tears by the end, but I don't regret going and it's such an important part of history to know. Love from Australia dude! 😎
