This song is obviously raw and a window into what I went through... and I know that it may spark feelings and opinions from the listener that range from empowerment to anger. Music is therapy for me. Music and songwriting have always been a way to express yourself for centuries. I stand by my music. I do not regret writing it. It was real for me, as it is for many people you may even hear on the radio. This whole album was a window into some of the hardest times of my life. It was like showing you my diary. Love it or hate it, it was my truth. The fact of the matter is, I'm moving forward with my life now, so the feelings and emotions I had while writing all of these songs are of the past, not present. Things still may sting a little, but I'm in a different place now. I don't want the comment section to be full of hate or arguing. Let the music stand by itself. You don't have to like it. If you do enjoy it, thank you... I busted my ass to make it the best it could be. Thank you to everyone that understands what songwriting is all about... and that this was an artistic expression of love and heartache for me. More music coming soon. Stay happy and healthy everyone!
