This was written when I didn't know much about him or her. I think they are just different. I can really relate to her. My ex husband was very smothering and demanded too much time for me. Our love languages were very different. He was happy being "comfortable" financially if he got to spend every second with me, she is what fulfilled him where work fulfills her. I totally get that. My self worth is wrapped up in my success at work.

109. bixspiderbeck: I'm sure it's different for everyone, but I've been going for years and just had a session this morning. Depending on what's going on, some sessions can make you cry, some can make you angry, and some (most, in my opinion) can make you feel like such a weight has been lifted. I felt really light after mine today. All therapists are slightly different too, but mine is fantastic. She is very straight-forward and doesn't beat around the bush - and while that may not be best for everyone (and I never guessed it would be what I needed), it has given me so much confidence in myself because I know when she validates my thoughts or feelings, she means it; she's not just telling me what I want to hear. Basically, I go and start chatting about whatever's going on that I feel like I need to talk about. She discusses it with me, and, like Josh mentioned, she'll often say something that makes me go, "Oh, yeah. Oh gosh. I did not think about it like that (or) I didn't realize that (or) how did I not see that?" I honestly highly recommend it to anyone who is curious or thinks it might be helpful to them. I think it would benefit any and everyone if they view it with an open mind and an open heart. It's changed my life. I'm happy to answer more questions, if you are wondering anything specific.

140. bixspiderbeck: There are definitely therapists who aren't suited for certain people and even therapists who are just awful. The 1st one I ever had an appointment with was terrible and made me feel uncomfortable. But, kind of like with dating, I didn't want to give up just because I saw one who wasn't right for me, so I didn't go to her again and kept looking. My therapist now is fantastic. I definitely think if you don't believe your therapist is right for you - or if you don't feel like you're getting what you need - keep looking until you find one that's a fit. That said, sometimes therapists are a good fit but are challenging for us because their job is to help us explore things that are hard for us. It can be a fine line between having a therapist who isn't a good fit and having a therapist who challenges you in ways that may, at times, make you feel sadness or anger or other discomfort. It sounds like this one just wasn't right for you, and I don't blame you for being frustrated. <3

My dog was shaking and acting funny for a full day once and then I found out the neighbor had a barking machine that if a dog barked it let off a sensor that only a dog can hear and it's very painful for them. So if shadow continues to act like that I would try and change the alarm system because he shaking because it's scaring him and it's hurting him.

She only cares about her career shes got netflix youtube etc. so she insisted on leaving him. Stop defending her it was pretty obvious since day one. She never looked sad in a single video after that and she makes a video saying that she chose not to talk about it out of respect. Bullshit shes very smart ill tell you that. And hes been miserable ever since the breakup and posting those depressing videos that might cost his subscribers if he continues like that.

Because that's how I became immune to all of it after awhile.

Thanks to my church and my truly awesome friends and my need to get better PTSD, I researched like a feen and the instagram page surivivors.united (so much helpful info and reading about other people who suffered and got out of a bad situation gave me my sunny out look back) I'm 90% better and growing and know how to react to things in a calm manner. This is one of the reasons why I have such a strong and close relationship with Jesus. I can tell him any thing and he will never tell me to shut up. He listens even when I talk about the same things over and over he gently guides me out and gives me clarify and I love that about Jesus. And one of the reasons I am glad I live alone. And plus singing helps me too. So happy to see your mom and dad your parents are always bringing the sun shine.
